One more category of waste which should be handled and disposed off in a very careful and effective manner is nuclear waste. We all know that nuclear waste is radioactive and if it is allowed to pollute the environment, The entire mankind and all plants and animals will be exposed to various radiations emitted from this waste which have very disastrous effect on a life forms. We are aware of the chernobyl disaster and damage caused to the life forms due to it.
