It is composed of cells that have lost the power of division and have attained definite shape,form and size. They may have living or dead cell. Cells are thick or thin well some permanent cells retain power of division and helps in the secondary growth in plants. On the basis of its constitution, the permanent tissue is classified into two types simple tissue and complex tissue.
