Fishes and other aquatic animals are killed due to the various chemicals in the effluents. Many harmful chemicals accumulate in the fishes and other marine food chains. Plastics that are dumped into the seas do not decompose. Fish and turtle suffocate when they swallow plastic. Thousand of sea birds and marine animals die due to plastic related causes.
